At least check that a[-1] and a[a.length] have not been written to. See https://v8.dev/blog/elements-kinds

Or add assertions to check pre and post conditions on all methods. Remove those assertions in build. See make-github-pseudonymous-again/js-library#7 (comment).

Partially implemented as assertions.
