Testing a task run

Hi community,

I was reading dag.test() from Debugging Airflow DAGs. This was useful to test or backfill a dag locally.

I am wondering do we have an operator.test() that runs a particular task locally. I understand it is equivalent to calling the callable directly, but this would be helpful for daily support. If we don't have it, shall we add it as a new feature?
