Have you read a contributing guide?

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
  • I have searched the existing issues and didn't find any that were similar
  • I have considered creating a pull request with fixes instead of a bug report and want to proceed

Current Behavior

Right now when you decide to insert a link using ctrl+k or pressing the link button all the future text, except after new line, ends up being a link as well. This behavior is really annoying and the link can't be quickly stopped through just pressing ctrl+k again, you have to instead select all the text you don't want linked and then do it. Just makes typing a lot more annoying. The same behaviour happens with code as well

Expected Behavior

Link either cancels after two spaces or bind a new keybind that allows toggling links, and don't forget code as well

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Type text
  2. Select text and make in to link
  3. Keep typing
  4. Still linked

Environment

- OS: Win 11
- Version: 0.39.0
