Have you read a contributing guide?

  • I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
  • I have searched the existing issues and didn't find any that were similar
  • I have considered creating a pull request with fixes instead of a bug report and want to proceed

Current Behavior

When importing zip file created by date takes that of the ZIp file

Expected Behavior

Create by date would be tagged as create by of the file inside of the zip file.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create zip file of a bunch of markdown files with different create dates (Like journal entries. Or Notes)
  2. Zip of the files.
  3. File -> Import Space
  4. Select Markdown
  5. Select zip file
  6. See that files created have the create by of the zip file not of the files themselves.

Environment

- OS:Windows 11
- Version: 0.39.0

Anything else?

Where this would be really useful is if you are trying to keep the create by date for things like journal entries or other type of note where it would be useful to know when the file was created.
