developer preview features #55336
Comments
Actually angular.io already has it (sort-of), when you filter the API page : https://angular.io/api?status=developer-preview I've already added an item to implement something similar in #52663 which serves as our backlog for the API pages. |
It wouldn't hurt to reference that page from the Developer Preview section. |

Main problem for me is that these features are 'too' mixed in with stable features and sometimes it is not noticeable that they are in dev preview. |
Describe the problem that you experienced
At present, angular.dev and angular.io lack a dedicated page or section pointing out active developer preview features. For instance, our team recently transitioned existing control flow structures such as *ngIf to @if, only to later discover that this feature was still in developer preview mode. Although I'm aware that on https://angular.dev/guide/templates/control-flow, we do display a note stating,
'IMPORTANT: Angular built-in control flow is in developer preview. It is ready to try, but may change before becoming stable,'
it would be immensely helpful to have this information readily available on pages like https://angular.io/guide/releases or https://angular.dev/reference/releases. This would serve as a reliable reference for safely choosing features to integrate into projectsEnter the URL of the topic with the problem
