My idea is to make KryptEY an offline writing app and only decide at the end to which messenger to send the message through the "export note" function (or import note for the reverse action).

What do you think?

Hi @serrq, can you explain in more detail what your idea is?

My idea maybe determines a fork from the current solution that is essentially based on a keyboard.

My idea is not only keyboard but an entire app, similar to a notes taking, where I can export and import encrypted messages to and from other apps (messengers or file managers).

In summary: while now we have to write the message inside the messenger, in the solution I propose CryptEY allows you to do it within itself. Only afterwards content be exported elsewhere via the sharing hub. Reverse action is also allowed (ingoing messages).

This would also mean that the app has a contact book, backup/restore feature. It would be much more than just a keyboard. Basically it would be a messaging app without harbors for direct sending and receiving.

This offers the benefit of being able to "create" the encrypted message "at home" and distribute it to other apps (unaware of what they carry because encrypted).
