It would be nice for non-coders to be able to easily check what version of the Project they currently have in their browser. I have read several of the files once downloaded from GitHub, but so far have not found a Readme etc that states the Version#.

Would it be possible to show the Version# in the GUI, eg, in the Sidebar Settings pop-up?
