Would like to unclick a state in the data section rather than having to select a different state #22

I'm confused: it works for me if you click again on the selected state. But maybe the user wants to be able to click somewhere else in the interface to deselect? Do they want an "X" button?

Hmm yeah this does seem pretty clear in the data area. Maybe an x or reset button, or clicking outside of the selected state on the map?

I wouldn't think to click twice to unselect. How about clicking into space deselects, @almccon and @ebrelsford ?

@emilyhobson Clicking into space as in clicking on the map but outside of a state/county? I'd support that.
