No sound when playing an audio message

Hi,

Having an issue with playing WhatsApp audio messages. There is no audio.
The app volume settings don't show up in the Win 10 2004 system's sound settings.
They didn't show up either before the 2004 feature upgrade in version 1909.

It works on some of my other computers ( some on 1909, some on 2004 ), unknown so far, why it doesn't on this one.
Settings within the Altus app don't show an option to select, on which audio device an audio message should be played.

Using Altus Version 3.14.0.
Issue persists throughout all versions back to 3.4.0 ( and maybe below ).

Do you consider to create an option for this in upcoming versions?

Thanks for submitting this issue. I'll look into it.
From a preliminary search on the electron repo it looks like I might be able to implement something like this. But, unfortunately I can't guarantee anything. I will definitely try to do it when possible.
If you or anybody else is willing to implement it, I'll be glad to accept a pull request.

unfortunately, it's more complicated than I thought initially.

One of my computers has no audio at all, when I play audio messages in Altus. No matter what I try.
Playing audio in other applications works flawlessly there.

Another system is playing them fine, and it already did it short time after I wrote my initial comment.
Also, I can record an audio message on this system just fine.

You can enable sound playback in the app settings.

I cannot find it in app setting. mind to share which one?

There isn't a global setting for that. You can click on the settings icon for your tab (or in the menu Tab > Edit Active Tab) and check whether the "Sound" toggle is on.
