When creating an Appointment as Admin in Calendar View, Customer gets wrong Timezone in Email #1504
Comments
Hello! Is the timezone in the customer email notification still correct? Also, which EA version did you try this with?
|
No, also, the TZ in the Notification is UTC.
Interestingly, only when done through the backend calendar view. If the customer books the
same appointment by himself, everything is good.
Version is 1.4.3
BTW, when I chose to create a new customer using the Backend Calendar while also creating a new appointment, I also cannot chose their language (Automatically English and like I said, Timezone automatically UTZ)
So I guess a work around would be to first create the Customer in Customer view, then switch to calendar view, then create a new appointment using the customer selector.

Hello! Thanks for providing all this info. I double checked with the latest 1.5 Alpha package and this problem does not exist any longer. Feel free to learn more and download the new release in this blog post: https://easyappointments.org/blog/new-1-5-alpha-1-release-available

We were wondering about customers arriving 2 Hours to early for appointments, now I found out, that if the admin uses the backpanel to create an appointment, the email sent to the Service Provider shows correct Timezone (Berlin +1), but customer confirmation Email shows UTC. I double checked and all users, admin, providers are using Berlin TZ. If the user creates the appointment by himself, the TZ is correct.
