Summary

Some pages (specifically the Shared Stories and My Stories pages) have bright, bold headers. It's not clear whether having the header just on these pages is a design choice or an accident of evolutionary.

It might be nice to have similar headers on other pages.

See the examples screenshots.

Shared Stories page with a nice bold header:
shared-stories

Myt Stories page with a nice bold header:
my-stories

Profile page lacking header (same is true of other pages):
profile

What needs to be done?

  • Decide on which pages to have headers.
  • Decide on text for any new headers.
  • Add headers to the pages.

Who can help?

  • Designers.
  • Developers.

I would argue for not adding the headers to all pages or at least consider if they are collapsable somehow:

While they look quite nice and help orient the user, they effectively lead to the main content being pushed down quite a bit, depending on the screen/window size outside the default viewport. This means users have to scroll a lot to get to content they expect to see.

A potential compromise solution would be to either collapse these views by default or after a user has seen them?
