Received via email:

Have you thought about integrating with something like OSVR? That seems like a nice attempt at some standardization in this space.

Received via email:

We’d love to work with you on OSVR, if you’re keen. Would be great to make your tech available to more people and with more VR-Glasses. Let me know if working on the open platform to expand your reach would be something you’d be interested in.

From OSVR.com:

Received access to the private OSVR project last week. Looking into it more today. I probably won't be able to publish any integration work yet, since:

OSVR is currently in pre-release phase. We’re hoping to release the entire code to the public soon.

Got the Oculus plugin working with the OSVR server. Now I have to figure out where to get the Leap Motion plugin. I found this at http://www.razerzone.com/press/detail/press-releases/industry-leaders-announce-open-platform-for-virtual-reality-gaming:

Leap Motion is also showcasing the future of truly immersive virtual reality experiences with OSVR and the original input device - your bare hands. Please email [email protected] to set up a private appointment and connect with the Leap Motion team.

There is not currently an OSVR plugin for Leap Motion input.

OSVR Hacker Dev Kit to Include Motion Control with Embedded Leap Motion Technology:

Leap Motion developers will be able to easily extend their existing Leap Motion VR applications into the OSVR framework. New developers that want to incorporate fundamental 3D motion input can count on a standard set of functions, such as six-degrees of freedom inputs (move in X, rotate around Y), and write experiences that are device agnostic.

Developers worldwide can pre-order the HDK and the OSVR faceplate with Leap Motion through the OSVR web store in May; shipping will begin in June. [...] Leap Motion will be the first motion-tracking technology to be integrated into the OSVR Hacker Dev Kit to provide hand tracking

Update: I'm currently building the Leap Motion plugin at https://github.com/OSVR/OSVR-Leap-Motion. Having an OSVR-ready input device will help me build an OSVR input module for Hover VR.
