Sometimes we run QUAST on several draft assemblies generated with the same reads, and as you know, when analyzing large genomes, QUAST take a bit of time.
So we are wondering if it is possible to
run QUAST on individual assemblies separately, then "merge/combine" to a final report.
run QUAST in stages, e.g. preprocessing, then collect basic stats, then analyze the contigs (call out to minimap2 etc), annotation, and on and on.
The first feature would be most useful for us, because we'd like to not having to run the whole process again when a new assembly is available.
Thanks!
Steve
