Hello @ZeroLatency86 it seems like you're possibly the only resource on the web that I can find regarding these tablets. I'm not actually looking to root or flash TWRP, but I'm hoping you can guide me. I received one of these tablets in a library sale. I'd like to get it running for my niece. However, it's just freezes on the boot screen with a flashing what appears to be GPS symbol. Reset does nothing, draining the battery doesn't help. I'm a bit stuck. Do you have a guide for getting into recovery and/or Fastboot? All the normal steps for MTK/Unisoc/Qualcomm methods don't work. I know these aren't running any of those chipsets, but I'd like to at least try an FDR from a recovery menu. If that doesn't work, then maybe you have some suggestions for a stock image that can be flashed.

I just started this project and just found a way to recover and unlock the bootloader as in puting the tablet back to stock image without aney preloaded apps. The recovery is built into some of the playaway tablets but some dont have a recovery partition builtin and if you use adb to recover you could end up with a boot loop stuck on fastboot so I recommend this tutorial for the AllWinner A33 chipset only . I haven't been to successful with the rock chip chipset. I have a youtube where I uploaded the mod and hack process to use the tablet as a windows touch screen . this is not a web tablet or does not have bluetooth 3g so I was using it to control a home server NAS setup with touchsceen in a UNIX environment been working good couple years now.
