[BUG] Transcription model not ready

Bug Description

App forces you to have Parakeet Lightning installed. Even if other model is downloaded, wont transcript without parkeet

Current Behavior

App wont generate transcript if Parakeet Lightning is not installed on the machine, even if a different transcription model is selected

Expected Behavior

Able to delete Parakeet Lightning and use any other transcription model

Steps to Reproduce

1. Download any other transcription model (I.E Local Whisper Large)
2. Delete Parakeet Lightning
3. Attempt to begin transcription, and get error message

• Node Version: v22.19.0
• npm/pnpm Version: 10.9.3

Same for me, can't run any of the whisper models, I get this error:

• Mic and disk access is granted
• Fresh install using dmg
• Model file is not corrupted

Hi Thank you for your providing the information
could you please try to download one of the prakeet model and select the whisper model

This may be due to a known issue resolved by #409 where the recording start checking for the parakeet models even the whisper model is selected

Unfortunately, can't reproduce on my side as this issue forced me to do a clean reinstall.
Anyone else can confirm fixed?
