[Linux] Yubikey manager doesn't detect Yubikey

• YubiKey Manager version: 1.2.5
• How was it installed?: RPM through Yast. (https://software.opensuse.org/package/yubikey-manager-qt)
• Operating system and version: openSUSE Tumbleweed

• YubiKey model and version: legacy
• Bug description summary:
  My Yubikey is not showing up in the Yubikey manager. Although it is plugged in:

Couldn't open device, some information will be missing
Bus 007 Device 009: ID 1050:0010 Yubico.com Yubikey (v1 or v2)
  idProduct          0x0010 Yubikey (v1 or v2)

Error: No YubiKey detected!

Steps to reproduce
--- Start yubikey manager, insert key, no response. It is never recognized as such. Under Windows the key is recognized without issue with Yubikey manager

Expected result
--- Yubikey manager is recognizing my key, so that I can set-up OTP on the device for use in KeepassXC.

Actual results
--- Key is not recognized and I'm not able to configure the key.

Other info

• I installed the RPM through Yast. Though the same happens using the appimage.
• Using Virtualbox with Windows the key is recognized without issue.
