VLC Fullscreen and resizing hides part of the video

Let me know how can I continue helping debugging.

Doing any of this this with VLC:

• Resizing the non-fullscreen window
• going fullscreen

results in:

• cropped borders
• incorrect center position (leaving parts of the video off screen)

This does not happen inside hyprland in the same machine.

System Information

• niri version: niri 25.08 (01be0e6)

• Distro: Arch Linux

• GPU: Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx (family: 0x17, model: 0x18, stepping: 0x1)

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U
