The current Controlnet Models for Flux have a tendency to destroy the background, it would be great to have an option to apply a mask so that the background can be generated by flux without constraint.
Kosinkadink/ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet implements this mask feature but I can't get it to work with Flux

I am having the same issue, and I also tried Kosinkadink/ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet. It works great for SDXL, it also works with FLUX, but without mask_optional specified. Would be great to have such an option available here!
