[editor] Markdown hyperlink rendering issue

If I type a hyperlink with []() syntax and then press CTRL+A CTRL+C to copy this Markdown document, the lines with hyperlink syntax []() are copied with extra \ symbols.
If I write the Markdown elsewhere with proper syntax and then CTRL+V paste it into this webpage, the hyperlinks are rendered but not navigable (I cannot open the link target with CTRL + left click).
