Public videos failing to download #593

bug Something isn't working

Version

v1.14.0

Platform

Windows 11

Steps to reproduce

Try downloading this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGtOdDjfqAQ

It fails and the error message says Video 'hGtOdDjfqAQ' is not available.

Details

It's a public video, it's failing to download. There are plenty of other examples I can give. For example, many of the videos on this playlist:
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLluZGtIpwF_B6IHB6q1pG8AJAIvpJHNIH&si=pUWYSTjiP2qooFJb

This specific playlist was already mentioned in this issue: #591. I don't know why, the issue was closed as a duplicate of #550, however that issue is due to an underlying issue Tyrrrz/YoutubeExplode#852 which is specific to private videos. The playlist I have provided contains public videos, not private ones.

Same here... Started happening just today, yesterday everything was fine. Never had to login to my google account before, today it started saying authentication error so I signed into google within the app, this is the error message I got after that... I also turned on auto-update and it updated to the latest version, still no juice :(

mine doesn't open at all anymore. I've tried another older release, it opens, but no possibilty to download. I've notice some issues on another programms which interact with youtube, like newpipe or ublockorigins... newpipe has just done a new release, so I think Tyrrrz will do the same in no time :-) thanks by the way !

Recent release should have helped with this issue, please test it out

Closing the issue as the original problem appears fixed. If you're getting 400/401/403 errors, try logging out. Otherwise there are still other issues tracking those errors here: #546 #550
