    <p>This site is used to check digital ballots from the current election in
    Pelican County. Please enter the first few characters of your
    ballot checking code, using the search box below. When you've
    found your code, click the "Check Ballot" button.
    Then you will be shown the contents of yout ballot, to check that it
    correctly records the ballot selections you made with the app. </p>
    
    <p> The ballot checking process is anonymous; no voter identity is available
    along with the ballot's content. </p>
