Feature Description

Write please detailed instructions on compiling for Windows (cross-compilation on Linux) with a clean installation of (for example) ArchLinux.

Ok. Personally I don't need cross-compilation yet. What about compiling on Windows? Could you please write instructions on compiling on clean Windows 11?

Yes, we'd like to be able to do that but it's a significant effort to get native compilation to work. It involves vcpkg and I don't have access to a windows machine very often, so it's hard for me to get that working. Contributions are very welcome if you can get it to build :).

I don't think there is any need to use VC. MinGW will do just fine.
