Installing and configuring Athena

(!! NOT YET AVAILABLE ON EITHER STORE !!)You can download Athena from either F-Droid, or from the Google Play Store. Athena is free on F-Droid, to encourage people to move towards free and open source apps. The app is paid on the Google Play Store, which acts as both a means of raising funding for the project, and an incentive to use F-Droid. However, both applications are the same. Setting Athena as your default assistant

Once Athena has been installed, press settings and press the "Select Assistant" button. This will take you to the Android settings screen where you can then choose Athena as your default Android assistant. Setting Athena as your default text-to-speech service

Once Athena has been installed, press settings and press the "Select Assistant" button. From there select "Default text-to-speech service", and then select Athena as your default TTS service. You should then hear Athena thank you for setting her as the default service. Installing 3rd party plug-ins and apps

Any Athena compatible app should just work once installed on the device. Athena is set to scan your device for newly installed applications and update herself if they are compatible with her design
