It seems the site map is only generated for pages that have been saved after the plugin has been installed. I have to save individual pages to get them to show up in the site map. For a site with hundreds of pages, that is quite a chore, for anyone without direct access to the database.
Shouldn't there be default site map values applied to all pages when the plugin is installed? I have to go into the database manually and add the default properties there using a SQL query.
