Installing this plugin on the deck immediatly results in an error

Hey, im using this template for plugin development on the steam deck.
i installed all the deps with pnpm install and then build the project with pnpm build

i then copy all the contents to the deck and i get the following error message in decky:

SyntaxError: Unexpected token "export"
at PluginLoader.importReactPlugin (http://localhost:1337/frontend/chunk-xxxxx.js:7344:75)
...

Has anybody tried, developing a plugin with this new template?

Hey, I had the same issue while started my plugin
So, just call pnpm build and copy-move to zip is not enough.

You should:

• build
• copy files to output-folder
• set file execution permissions
• archive it --> test on your deck

Devs recommend to use Tasks in folder .vscode. I upd build.sh for my case and now plugin works!

If you use VSCode or it's derivatives (we suggest VSCodium!) just run the setup and build tasks. It's really that simple.

If you need some template for changes of build.sh --> that is mine (customize it to your preferences, this is just a quick option; it's better to split it into separate scripts)

Same as mine. I installed package from store, and immediately got en error of Decky.
