Agree that this would be useful, but I'm unsure if there is a good way to make a grid look "Minecrafty" enough. Spirit projects tend to stay pretty vanilla style.

Well, it could be something close to the Bedrock Edition UI, the screenshot gallery. But I agree that it's not so close to the Java interface itself

Could def be a good reference to use. @worldwidepixel made most of Snapper and knows way more about minecrafts UI than I do so that's on him. Ill assign him here and open my own issue for sorting

Well, they recently put it in the Preview versions.
This feature would be interesting for me because my modpack tries to simulate Bedrock's appearance and features as much as possible. ;)
