Summary

Per developers, Slicer Auto3Dgm extension (https://github.com/ToothAndClaw/SlicerAuto3dgm) is no longer maintained (see the transcript from Doug Boyer below). Their preferred method is now a conda package.

There are still people who are trying to use this with Slicer. Often it fails and there are also some known issues (such as a dependency for a proprietary library). I would suggest removing it from the extension catalogue so that we don't have to answer the inquiries about why it is not working.

Thanks Murat

I think we would probably lean towards dropping it. Its not really very useful compared to the conda-wrapped python versions we have developed.
Here is the github for the conda/python installation: https://github.com/ToothAndClaw/Auto3dgm_Python.git

To remove the extension from the extensions index, the json would get added to the ARCHIVE and explaining the archive reasoning in the ARCHIVE README.
