画像がないことを確認するのをどうすればいいだろうか

先にurlfetchしておいて、nキロバイト以下ならないと判断するとか

この案を採用しようとしたんだけど、毎回２回リクエストするのがなんか微妙

商品画像があるかをBookのカラムに入れておくとか

画像自体をこちらで持つのはダメだろうか？
初回にDBにバイナリで入れてしまって、無い場合は専用のをpublic以下に入れておくとか

各種サイズ、影の有無、クロップされた画像、などなどが必要になることを考えると、それはないんじゃないか、という気がします

jsサイズを見てsrcを置換とか
