I remember seeing this before! But i can't for the life of me remember why I was getting it and how I fixed it, but I did. Which Visual Studio are you running in? I only tested the app in visual studio 2015 at the time I think. Also did you use cmake to create the visual studio project file?

I haven't done any work in the last year on this project basically!

Bit late to the party here, but I'm getting this same issue now trying to build with VisualStudio 16 2019.
