Unable to run smbsync2 over mobile cell data + openvpn as wifi is not active or used in this mode

possibly a bit similar in nature to #259 . I was attempting to run the app over a OpenVPN connection remotely over the cellular mobile data network, hence no WiFi was involved, *there are more then one way to network :) ), the app simply refused to run as WiFi was not in use ??
I am able to file browse my network remotely this way using file managers and various apps
