Package documentation and the 'help' function #552
-
I expect I'm asking too late to get an answer before the practicals are graded, but hoping I can figure it out in time for the project... I had feedback saying that because I'd left the 'NULL' off the end of my package documentation for series 3, calling >help("mhuzzellSeries03-package") didn't do anything. I added the 'NULL', documented and installed it, and it seemed to be fixed -- except that it now keeps disappearing whenever I restart R. I then get the error: No documentation for ‘mhuzzellSeries03-package’ in specified packages and libraries: I've tried on a few classmates' packages as well, in series 03 and 04, and no one else's seem to be working, either. But it does work if I edit and then save the documentation file (in any way) and then document and install it within the same session. How do I get those changes to stay? I have committed and pushed each time. |

Wait, I'm dumb, I just wasn't reloading the library after restarting R. Will leave this up in case anyone makes the same mistake. |
