The South African Heart Disease dataset is a famous dataset obtained from the Coronary Risk Factor Study carried out in South Africa (Rousseauw et al 1983). The data consits of a binary response for presence of myocardial infarction at the time of the survey, and was conducted on white males between the ages of 15 and 64. The dataset consists of 462 observations, 160 of which had a MI and 302 which did not. The data contains several numeric and factor level predictors.
