Hi all,
I have had a couple of opportunities to teach the reproducible research curriculum in the last year (with Hilmar at Duke and on the NIH campus)and it seems to me that those who see the value in this training have more programming experience then we may have initially thought. Many of them have programmed in python before or have recently taken triaing to learn to program in python. With this being the case, I think it is worth considering wether we remove some of the programming aspects (of say the automation lesson) and add other content, specifically version control. Anyone have similiar or different experiences?
