looks like onedrive has some security measures in place that make it pretty hard for the bookmark to work properly. I wasn't aware that the chrome extension had apparently been removed, but I'd recommend trying that once it's available again.
I receive the following error when trying to start the bookmark on onedrive.live.com (Powerpoint). The demo works. Tested in Firefox and Chromium.
