Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

There is a clear difference between using on shot with write aim than using it with mouse movement.
Mouse movement path is always the same, extremely predictable and consistent.
Write aim path is not always the same, always slower than mouse movement, extremely inconsistent and sometimes not even adjusting at all when using pistols.

Pistol write aim with on shot is a bit more consistent in 1.7 beta linked than in 1.8.

Tapping with on shot disabled works perfectly with write aim and as expected.

To Reproduce
Add steps on how to reproduce this issue/bug, if you don't this issue will be closed and won't be looked into.

Tested on:
RatPoison 1.7 2020-08-14
RatPoison 1.8 2020-11-08

Pistols (speed/smooth/distance fov) 5/2.9/21, neck
Rifles (speed/smooth/distance fov) 5/3.9/24, nearest

Set those settings then start tapping next to the head, you will clearly see how switching between mouse movement and write aim changes the consistency of shots.
