As an RSE i want to compare my own results against a benchmark of others at a similar career stage.

This might include salary and grade information.

from today's meeting: we should try to avoid the term "benchmark" as this gives an impression of a rigid skill profile for a given role. Prefer "example profile" or similar instead

Also, I like the idea of (anonymous) sharing of salary/grade along with a skill profile!
