Integrate timestamp factor (YOURLS) into URL shortener #1089
Comments
Do you have any links/guides to the (official) YOURLS doc for that timestamp factor? The time of creation? (IMHO can't yourls do that internally, it can just use the current time?) Or for expiring pastes the time the paste expires (which imho would make sense, since at that time you also cannot access the paste anymore, so the link can be deleted, too)? |
As far as I read it correctly all information about their timestamp is on this page: https://yourls.org/docs/guide/advanced/passwordless-api#usage-of-a-time-limited-signature-token And yes. The deletion time should be send. So if the document expires, the shortened url also does. |
Dear Privatebin Team,
I am writing to make a suggestion for the Privatebin URL Shortener, which already supports integration with Yourls.
I noticed that Yourls has a timestamp factor in its API that allows the autmatically deletion of the shortened url after a specific time. I therefore suggest that this timestamp factor is also integrated into the privatebin URL shortener.
Integrating the timestamp factor would improve the functionality of the Privatebin URL Shortener and increase usability. Users would be able to track the time of link creation and sort and manage their links accordingly.
I would be very pleased if you could review and consider my suggestion.
Thank you in advance for your attention and support.
Yours sincerely,
Marvin
