Water doesnt feel like being wet at very low detail distances #212

This thing happens.

(voxel + heightmap, lod levels: 18, cutoff dist: 128 blocks, cubicworldgen custom default world, this really only pertains to the heightmap side though)

Also it gets worse as you get farther.

version is 0.0.1.612-1.12 (curseforge build) which turns out to be 3 years old, but idk if new versions fix this, so i will leave this open to see if anybody else has this issue. If you see fit, you can close this issue

The version you are testing is 3 years old, I suggest you join the discord and try one of the newer branches

wow, quick response. sorry i was using an old build, but i also dont have discord. sad

i also tried the latest build from jenkins like the curseforge page directed me to do and it straight up doesnt work ( ibet it was some error on my part)

This is a known design flaw in the current implementation of the mesh scaling algorithm fp2 uses. I've been working on a way to improve this for a while, but progress has been slow.
