[Bug?] The font selection window is working strangely

Xubuntu 24.04, Pinta from the master branche, .NET 8 (the dotnet-sdk-8.0 package, 8.0.12).

The list of fonts does not show immediately, and the list is displayed without sorting.
Scrolling through the list works with noticeable delays.
A filter for displaying only monospaced fonts is also a "joy".

Can anyone confirm?

That's a standard GTK dialog, so you could try running gtk4-demo and launch the Pickers and Launchers demo app to see if you get the same slowdown outside of Pinta
If so, please submit a bug to the GTK bug tracker

@cameronwhite, thanks, I didn't know about this way. The window works a little faster, but I see the same problem.
It's strange that I'm the only one with this problem...

Perhaps there are specific fonts which are problematic? Regardless, I think this could be submitted to the GTK bug tracker if you're able to reproduce the same issue in gtk4-demo

I use the fonts that are installed by default in Ubuntu/Xubuntu and a few additional ones in ~/.local/share/fonts (ttf-mscorefonts, Hack). I tried to move the ~/.local/share/fonts folder and clear the font cache, but it didn't help.

Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to report the problem. I'll probably try to look at the GTK4 changelog (last) and the bug tracker.
