Suggestion: Weekly/Monthly Stats #952
Comments
Similar to #346 ... sort of liking this suggestion better because it would be maximum limited... some Authors could update 3 to 5 times a day on average and that would get messy with history in the UI... but using this methodology of week/month would mean a maximum of 1-52 weeks and 1-12 months respectively. 52 is still a bit much though. |
52 weeks is a LOT much and pretty useless. I actually did not mean to keep full record for whole year, though the full monthly record for calendar year would be nice feature. I meant just the last few weeks or calendar months. I do something similar in OUJS-1 where it tries to keep record for the last five days and everything above that it merges accordingly into weeks and months. |
I'm thinking unique installs per period for this issue in general... some of #249 (and prior to it) is going to need to change. |
A stat that shows the number of unique update checks using hashed IPs, on weekly (Monday to Sunday) or even better still for each calendar month. I am not sure how feasible it will be on OUJS, I first suggested this in GF as it already has an advance stats page for install check.
