Can you possibly add a peripheral to read the mobs in an area, and make it also possible to connect it to a portable pocket computer, or something? I would find it very useful, for things such as sheep farms, villager trading automation, animal breeding, separating the zombie villagers and angry zombies from the normal ones.

And, with the portable computer, detecting when those pesky creepers are walking up on you. (Or, what I have in mind for this, Warning the player when a super powerful infernal mob is walking up on you (madpack... And the like hard modpacks.))

Thanks! I know a tiny bit of programming, but not enough to know how easy or hard it would be to add that to the mod. I request the capability to read metadata of the mob, if possible?

Maybe set a maximum range that it detects for things, and crafting recipe could be a mob head + Wireless modem + Peripheral proxy + something like iron ingots or diamond or gold?

First of all, there is no way to create peripheral for portable computers.

And have you checked OpenPeripheralAddons sensor? It already does some of it. It will be probably more productive to request functionality in there.
