sounds like you may have the wrong driver chip, the d1 doesn't have CH340 and the other chip CPXXX doesn't seem to work.( typically used on D1) This information is on the projects home page. Things to do: Go to UI, enter MQTT details. (correctly) using the same details, download mqtt explorer, enter the details and see if you connect to the mqtt server/broker. check mqtt log for connection and any reason why. go back to the UI and look at the log file to see if there is any details on why it is an issue. |

I'm have quite some trouble getting this to work on a D1 mini. I flashed the .bin, it starts up with the wifimanager. I can connect to the stand-alone AP and enter the UI. I can set the wifi SSID and pwd. The unit connects to my wifi. Then still using the stand-alone AP I go to the Setup menu and enter my MQTT server IP and credentials. I says "Saved" and then just stays on that screen. When I use the back button I come back again in the main menu and choosing Setup again shows the MQTT settings I entered. Then when I restart the unit and going to the IP address assigned to the unit, I cannot get back into the main menu again and see a graph instead, with some links beneath it. If I click on the "Log" link I see the log where it shows it is not using my MQTT server settings but it jumped back to 10.1.2.3. Like this:
What am I doing wrong?

Bas
