Change schema - Add a public/private property for states/values? #489

Should states be marked as private to hide it in the frontend?

Quick thought about it:

Controling my TV via UPnP & remote control, report the volume.
To sync it about various protocols/interfaces a hidden state could be used.

That was just a "Blitzeinfall" without real use case currently.
But in general: Is there something that would prevent/speaks against it?

  • endpoints
