Implement a /status endpoint in the Django backend that returns the current backend version. This will improve observability and make it easier to verify the deployed version of the app. Additionally, display the frontend version in the footer of the site to help users and developers identify which version of the frontend is currently running. This information will be useful for debugging, deployment verification, and general transparency.
