Unable to build assets out of the box for ood-editor because the "Build Assets" command requires OOD_DATAROOT envvar.
Should this envvar be a requirement to build assets? The apps that do not contain databases currently do not use this variable in their execution, so requiring it just to pass this step would be extraneous.
I'm tracking this for ood-fileeditor at OSC/ood-fileeditor#38 but other apps would need to be updated [systemstatus, jobstatus] to include OOD_DATAROOT as well.
I understand that these are currently used as system apps, but since they are public they are also candidates for forking and testing here and at other sites. It's not a problem if we want to force this variable as best practice, but I just want to confirm before I add it to the other apps.
