Thanks! there's a feat/next13 branch which we started on, but there's still some issues with that so not merged yet

And by the way, did you try Remix.run? I am asking myself if I switch from Next12 to Remix, it would be awesome if I could have your opinion on it

Yeah we're really liking remix and the amount of code it removes from the boilerplate. For pure web apps, I'd recommend remix, but if you need a react native app too it gets a bit tricky.

I notice there hasn't been activity on the next13 branch, has the v13 release of the boilerplate been stalled indefinitely?

So, I'm still waiting for the app directory of next 13 to be more stable, though upgrading to next 13 and still using the pages directory should be totally fine. However some things that are stalling the development of this boilerplate:

We're looking to move away from chakra and to move to tailwind. We prefer the dx of tailwind and the fact that it doesn't ship huge amounts of JavaScript.

We're also looking to move to Remix, in combination with tRPC to use with expo. We much prefer the DX of Remix and I'm really not sold on the react server components direction that nextjs is going down.
