I’ve been a long-time user of your app (including the paid version in a two accounts) and wanted to share both how I use it and a couple of improvements that would make a huge difference for my setup.
My Use Case
On average, I maintain around 12 scripts for solo tasks and 3 scripts for group/placement scenarios.
I also run your app in combination with other automation tools as part of a larger management system (a bot I developed myself).
This system allows multiple accounts to connect, cycle through the list, launch a Smart Autoclicker script, take a screenshot, then process and report results automatically.
Modifications I Had to Make
To integrate Smart Autoclicker into this system, I had to patch the app myself:
Added the ability to launch a specific script by ID.
Used your new notification intent feature to trigger Play.
Built a script updater to migrate from v2.4.2 to v3.3.2.
What I Really Need
For my workflow, two features would be game-changers if officially supported:
Ability to launch a script by Android intent with a script ID.
Built-in support for taking screenshots during script execution, so results can be processed automatically, and faster
Right now, screenshots aren’t working in the version I’ve modified. Without that, I have to manually babysit training runs, capture screenshots, and adjust scripts by hand—this limits the automation potential.
Why It Matters
My bot (called TGBot) depends heavily on Smart Autoclicker as its automation backbone. It coordinates account rotations, script launches, screenshot collection, and reporting. Without the two improvements above, I’m forced to continually modify each new release of your app myself. If these features were added officially, it would unlock a much smoother and more scalable setup.
Suggestion
I haven’t opened a proper pull request because I honestly made a mess of the code while experimenting with AI assistance, and I don’t have a solid understanding of Android development. That’s why I’m reaching out for these changes to be handled directly in the official project.
And above all enjoy your current improvements, that would allow me not to use a buttons app to have a back button to press. Keep up the great work.
Thanks again for building such a powerful tool—Smart Autoclicker has been at the centre of my workflows for years, and with these features it could become even more versatile.
