Big-picture idea for future cleanup suggested by copilot as part of #110:
Keep one canonical dependency list (for example config/r-packages.txt) and have workflows, devcontainer setup, and local install instructions all read from that single file. Currently the two workflows and the devcontainer have separate dependency lists.
