While trying to update the opakapaka workflow I found a required change to converter function in the r4ss package. However, it took a while for me to figure out that the dependencies were in a cache. Deleting the Linux-r-pak cache at https://github.com/NOAA-FIMS/case-studies/actions/caches solved the problem, but that process should be documented for future case-studies contributors. Or we should figure out whether the caching is really beneficial. If the goal is to speed up the GHA, I'm not sure it's working because the render actions before and after deleting the cache both took 1 hour 29 minutes.
