My lab, the McMaster Baby Lab, has been developing a research management system for developmental research labs (https://github.com/naiqixiao/DRDB). The system runs as a web-based app, which stores participant and study information, automatically drafts emails & calendar events, reminds participants and experimenters of upcoming study appointments, and tracks the performance of research assistants.

We design the system for multi-lab collaboration, where coordination among and within labs is essential. It has greatly helped our research activities during the COVID pandemic. And we would like to learn more from your labs about participant information storage, RA training, participant recruitment, database sharing, etc., so we can continue developing the system to benefit our community.
